I. ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVES:
Serves as executive secretary to the Administrator of Charter Schools;
serves as a resource to staff, students, parents, business, community, and
educational partners.

Length of contract: 12 months
III. POSITION RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to: Administrator of Charter Schools
Coordinates with: Charter School staff, parents, students and
collaborative business, community and education partners
Type of coordination: As directed by the Administrator
IV. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required training and experience: High school graduation,
recent office experience including experience in transcription from
dictation equipment and in utilization of Window's Office
applications, district and charter school computer programs.
- Desired training and experience: Course work or an Associate
Degree from a vocational technical college.
- Special requirements of the position:
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Organize and complete projects in a timely manner.
- Maintain strict confidentiality on sensitive issues including
closed session minutes.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with
school, business, and community partners including the presidents
of such organizations.
- Work effectively with word processing, database, spreadsheet,
budget, and other advanced computer applications.
- Maintain complete and accurate minutes, budgetary records and
prepare detailed school, district, state and national reports and
claims.
V. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support for the Charter School Administrator, Governance
Board, Board Committees and staff.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information related to closed
sessions, employment and salary matters.
- Complete all requirements related to open meeting law notifications
and maintenance of legally required records.
- Serve as secretary for the Technology Charter School.
- Take minutes at Charter School Governance Board and committee
meetings and maintain legal records of those proceedings.
- Assist with the completion of claims, grant applications, reports,
and evaluations.
- Types evaluations.
- Completes data analysis.
- Compiles budget projections.
- Process purchase requisitions/orders and invoices for all activities
and grants overseen by the Administrator of Charter Schools.
- Maintain budget, scheduling, registration, attendance, and
transcript records.
- Coordinate the Administrator's appointments, schedule, and mail.
- Prepare materials for Administrator, Governance Board, and
committees of the Technology Charter School.
- Make travel arrangements.
- Maintain files and other records.
- Attend appropriate meetings, workshops, inservices, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
